This plant was awarded best Dendrobium at the show. I think this species was reclassified into Dockrillia, but I couldn't see the tag anywhere so I'm not certain as to species.

ReplyDeletethere's been quite a bit of consolidation going on in Orchid taxonomy lately, for example Neofinetia falcata is now a vanda, and all Dockrillias are now Dendrobiums. Hope that helps :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for reading. Are you certain about this? My recollection is that Dendrobium has been split up. In fact, formally, speciosum is not a Dendrobium! I thought the terete leaved Dendrobes were now in Dockrillia.
